Ancient Iberian Unarmoured Warriors

The ancient Iberian tribes produced some of the fiercest warriors encountered by the expanding Roman Republic. Renowned for their determination in battle, they fought both in defence of their own lands and as valuable allies of Carthage, where Iberian contingents earned a formidable reputation throughout the Punic Wars.
