Dacians

Fighting from the lands around the Carpathian Mountains, the Dacians developed a distinctive warrior tradition that made them formidable opponents of the ancient powers around them. Known to the Greeks as the Getae, they fielded warriors equipped with spears and shields, alongside archers and more heavily protected nobles.
