German Pak 40 Anti-Tank Gun

The PaK 40 (Panzerabwehrkanone 40) was one of the most iconic anti-tank guns used by Germany during the second half of the Second World War. Featuring a powerful 75mm calibre, it became the standard anti-tank weapon of the Wehrmacht on both the Eastern and Western Fronts. Its high penetration capability allowed it to remain highly effective against the majority of Allied armoured vehicles right up until the end of the conflict. Widely deployed, it was especially feared when operated from concealed and prepared positions, where its destructive potential could be fully exploited.
