Ghouls

The ghouls of the Wasteland are beings twisted by radiation and nuclear fallout. Some manage to retain relatively normal lives, able to converse, interact with others, and take part in settlement life, suffering little beyond their disturbing appearance. Prolonged exposure to radiation has stripped away their skin but grants them an unnaturally long lifespan, allowing them to survive far beyond human limits. These ghouls stand as living reminders of the lasting consequences of nuclear war.
