Halfling Forest Troll Gunners

The Kharne Forest and the marshes to the east of Yangmere are home to small tribes of wood trolls who have migrated from their traditional territories to find a new home. These trolls love to fight, and in times of need, the halflings manage to recruit some of their most enthusiastic youngsters with the promise of adventure and the inevitable (albeit disgusting) feast that follows a glorious victory. Clever halflings soon learn that there's a good degree of safety in being on the back of a hungry killing machine, where the enemy can't reach them, but where they can point a very large weapon if the enemy gets too close.
