Numidian Cavalry

Few mounted troops earned a reputation equal to that of the Numidian cavalry. Hailing from North Africa, across the regions of modern-day Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, these highly skilled horsemen became indispensable allies of Carthage, where their speed and exceptional horsemanship made them one of the most effective light cavalry forces of the ancient world.
