Orion, King of the Forest

Orion, King of the Wood Elves and consort to the Mage-Queen Ariel, is the living embodiment of Athel Loren’s will. Though an immortal spirit, his physical form is bound to the cycle of the seasons, returning each spring after willingly consigning himself to the funeral pyre at the winter solstice. Reborn in splendour and fury, Orion raises his mighty horn to summon the legendary Wild Hunt, calling upon every Asrai to take up arms in defense of their enchanted homeland. A symbol of untamed strength and the chosen champion of the god Kurnous, he stands as the wrath of the forest made flesh.
