Spanish Navy Fleet (1770 - 1830)

In Black Seas, the Spanish fleet is defined by its emphasis on overwhelming firepower. Through its national special rules, Spanish First Rates can take the “Over Gunned” upgrade at no cost, significantly increasing their broadside strength by adding additional heavy and light guns. This comes with clear trade-offs: these ships require successful tests to maintain full sail speed and can never be crewed by veterans, while veteran crews for other vessels become more expensive within Spanish fleets.
