The Burned Man was once Joshua Graham, co-founder and First Legate of Caesar’s Legion, but that all changed after his unit’s defeat in the First Battle of Hoover Dam. Caesar decreed that he face execution for such humiliating failure, ordering him burned alive and thrown into the Grand Canyon. Astonishingly, he survived.
